6. Today the sun was shining.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching a movie, tomorrow my plans include meeting with mi Jefe and Sunday, I want to crochet!

1. All children alarm their parents, if only because you are forever expecting the worst.

2. Show me a good loser and I will show you a good person.

3. Drinking an entire pitcher of Margaritas is like eating an entire box of chocolate liqueurs at one time. (Not a good idea!)

4. Too bad that all the people who know how to run the country are busy stealing our money and having affairs.

5. I have yet to hear a man ask for advice on how to combine driving and directions.

6. It is impossible to think of any good meal, no matter how plain or elegant, without carbs or fat in it.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to dinner with Jels, tomorrow my plans include shopping and Sunday, I want to stay in my pjs all day!

Time con Lola

Mi amigita, Lola, has been traveling so much in the last dos meses. We don't see her often. And I have been in Sin City working. Lola is all over the place. Pero, hoy, Lola came to Sin City. She was here to meet with our jefe...Daddy Warbucks. That's what she calls him.

Lola was staying in the Casino. She was here to sign some contracts for some shows, she is going to do later in el ano. And to talk with Daddy Warbucks. He is really attracted to her. And tends to give a lot of slack to Jels y yo when Lola comes to town. After their meeting, we spent the day together.

Jels called me to tell me we had the rest of the dia off. Since she was staying at the casino, we were in for lots of fun! Daddy Warbucks set us up with an in-room spa day. Despues, Lola wanted to go to one of the cocinas. She left us in the room. And when she got back, she had the most delicoso desserts. Lola cut up frescas and put them in these fancy dishes. She topped them with whipped cream. And dark chocolate shavings. They were simple, pero delicoso! I should have taken a picture of them.

We mostly enjoyed each others company. It has been a while since we have sat down and had good conversations like that. Lola is always busy, pero hoy, it was about friendship and good times. I like these unexpected dias.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to dinner at mi padres, tomorrow my plans include lunch with mi hermano and Sunday, I want to spend time with mi abuelita!
